Yesterday's Gelhausen sample was 3,386, another new record and an excellent number for a Thursday. Today's sample was 3,285, down a bit in anticipation of the weekend. Yesterday's Gelhausen sample value was 3,352, a new record. Today's sample was at 3,309, still a very reasonable number. We experienced some hubbing and services problems this morning. Other than that, though, things have been fairly quiet.

Your editor continues to hunt for a job and has spent the evening making phone calls to headhunters and submitting more resumes. It looks as if he may be able to pay the rent for this month, though various other critical bills may be problematic. He'll try not to drop off the face of the earth completely.

We're still considering names for the non-profit organization and have a couple of good candidates. The incorporation process may be rendered difficult by the fact that your editor is uncertain as to what US state he will end up getting a job in. If you have any employment leads for him in the San Francisco Bay area, this could help quite a bit. Email him at lilo at openprojects dot net.

Yesterday's Gelhausen sample value was 2,902, today's value was 3,093. Services went down once and was brought back up again fairly quickly.

Your editor's email problems have been resolved but today he is concentrating mainly on finding a new job, it being uncertain how long he can pay his apartment rent.
